The West Mackinac Dental Center provides dental services to residents of

Mackinac, Luce, Schoolcraft, and Chippewa Counties

and the neighboring areas in Michigan.

 

The Dental Center is located in the new addition to the West Mackinac Health Center at W14034 Melville Street in Engadine.

(Turn West at the caution light on M-117).

 

Services are available to people of all ages.

New Patients are Welcome!

 

We accept and bill all insurances including, but not limited to:

Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and Medicaid.

We are a participating provider with many of the local PPO health plans.

 

We also have a Sliding Fee Program which provides a discount on clinic services to those who qualify. This program is part of our state grant which provides funds to lower the cost of health care so that those who are

uninsured or underinsured are able to receive care.

 

You must apply for the Sliding Fee Program, application available at the clinic. Eligibility is based on income and family size.

 

Sliding fee discounts apply to most routine exams, cleanings, fillings and extractions with minimal co-pay.

There is higher co-pay for more extensive services.

 

You may also be eligible for a sliding fee if your insurance such as Blue Cross

does not cover all of your dental costs. Please check with the clinic for

further information. Sliding fee is only applied to dental charges after any

insurance has paid their portion of the bill.
