W-1: View to the west from the original starting point on the south
shore. Pictured area will eventually be an island.

W-2: From the northeast boundary we are looking toward the south shore
and eventual west island. South shore has not been started. Note water
level.

W-6: West channel excavation. Note sandy bottom and the formation of
several springs from the sandy area. Also note that the only water in the
excavation is from the springs, nothing from the sides or walls. The wall
you are looking at is all muck and rip-rap
