E-1: Looking south from north east boundry. Utility pole with transformer is immediately behind the Township Hall.  You are standing in the area of the 'land mark pine trees'.

E-4: Observing the  beauty, from the Pine Trees, of a Red Maple or Swamp Maple. An all out effort to save this tree is undertaken. This will be the only 'nature planted botanical' on "Island East"

E-7: The start of "Island East". Notice the piles of muck and the retracted south shore line.

E-8: North end of "Island East" and north boundry of Our property. (Below the right hand end of the ribbon is the original survey stake.)

E-9: North end of the east channel from the land mark Pine Trees.  Notice the Red Maple still standing.

e10.jpg (2451604 bytes)
E-10: The start of the east channel.  Note the depth of the channel at this point.  Directly in line with the land mark Pine Trees we excavated hard pan sand at about the 3, to 5' depth.  Concerned over 'puncturing the pond lining and possibility of loosing water it was decided to go no deeper. (Even with the underling hard pan we nearly lost the excavator to muck at this location.

E-11: The birth of "Island East" - water rushing in to fill the void.

E-12: North end of "Island East".  In the near future a bridge will span this channel very near here.  A 'Board Walk' will connect the main land to the bridge, thence south along the island to a 18' Cabana which will overlook a lighted, floating fountain.

E-13: Gauge for measuring water depth at north east park boundry.
